At the Asian Film Festival, Sunday 2 April, Japan Day is back, with an entire afternoon and evening dedicated to the best Japanese cinematography. The initiative, in collaboration with the Japanese National Tourist Board JNTO and the Japanese Institute of Culture (also sponsor), offered a multiple look into the topics covered in the four works, which were screened, starting from 3.00 pm, in room 1 of the Cinema Farnese Arthouse in Rome. Among the films scheduled In her room by Chihiro Ito, on the theme of the exploration of sexuality, Tea friends by Bunji Sotoyama, raw portrait of a group of elderly people within Japanese society, and A man by Kei Ishikawa, a dramatic story of investigation and revenge.
